Helpfully The Economist released a graph showing petrol prices, hopefully this will put some perspective on the situation. All figures are in USD and per US gallon. Firstly as we know that people in the US are paying about $2.40, lets compare this to other places. Obviously prices in Canada and Mexico are pretty similar to this, as otherwise people would be popping over the border to fill up.
