Perimeter Levels
10. Ragar
The main thing you need in this level is lots of howitzers. Build a core next to the bomb lab while flattening around your frame. Then build more cores around and where you can reach the enemy build howitzers to keep them back. Next build a laser lab and laser turrets to destroy the brigadiers they send across your land. Expand along your island towards the enemy, once you have cores beneath the route of the portal lift up your frame and wait for it to return to end the level.
11. Xmars
You must act quickly in this level. Build more laser turrets, upgrade your bomb and laser labs and build an empire lab. Once their first snipers have gone use your first squad to create three leamos and the other squad to create three leeches. Use these to attack the enemy destroying their cores and turrets. Use the leeches to take their energy and then convert them back to technicians to heal your leamos. Keep expanding your base towards them and build howitzers while destroying theirs with your leamo. It is worth also expanding your base to the side to gain more energy although you are still likely to have no energy. To finish the level build a core close to their frame and lift it off the ground. I used subterra units.
12. Histerra
First convert the units they provide into unseen and a piercer. Use the piercer to attack their frame and keep the unseen close by to prevent the piercer being attacked. While doing this but a command centre and start creating the units for another piercer. Build a technician plant to speed this up. Once your first piercer has self destructed start building another in squad one. As soon as a piercer is complete move it near to any of their labs and destroy them. Keep doing this until the enemy is weak. Don't forget defences during this time as they will send mortars and scum splitters against you. To get your energy network over the mountains flatten in the centre of the mountain and build a core there. Then you can capture the portal and some of the enemies network. Finally you must get your frame over the mountains. Do this when the enemy has almost been destroyed. Make sure your energy cores line the mountain pass, start moving your frame and this should trigger the level end.
13. Zabrich
Start by building energy cores in pre flattened area and as many laser turrets as possible to defend against the scourge. A sniper squad will also help. Build a command centre to give you another squad and create at least two scum splitters. Covert your snipers to gyroids to use as defence. Use the scum splitters to destroy the scourge nests. You may want to create another two squads so that you can destroy two scourge nests at the same time. While your squads are doing this expand your base towards where you need to build the cores. Once the cores have been build the location of the alpha portal will be shown. Flatten towards this location and build cores. You may need to rebuild some of the energy cores before you will be allowed to build the portal. Build it and begin to move your frame towards the portal. This should trigger the level end.
14. Clox
Some snipers arrive immediately so put a brigadier in their way which they can attack while you build defences. Build a laser lab and some turrets then you can build up a sniper squad if you want. They will then send underground units against you so it is a good idea to build a subterra lab and some chasers to stop them. Then upgrade your bomb lab so you can build howitzers before they can advance on you. I then created two scum twisters and used them to bash away at the enemy. At the same time I increased the number of cores to increase the power supply and my ability to attack them with howitzers. Once your energy supply is unusually going up and above 3000 start building the portal.
15. Mould
It is useful to head for the ready built out posts under the course of the portal. Keep your defences up as your opposition will begin to attack you right from the start. Don't forget underground defences. R-projectors and snipers are useful for repelling their attacks. They will usually send r-projectors and wargon tanks against you. Extend to the right once the portal returns over your core you will teleport through, ending the level.
16. Alientrance
In this level the only threat is the volcanoes, which are only activated when your frame is near. To stop the damage from the volcanoes near you build cores over them, you will need to build extra cores and flatten the land to do this. Then flatten a wide path to the portal, and build a route two or three cores wide. This should be enough to keep your frame safe when you move it. Move it fast when you do and keep buildmasters close.
17. Root
In this level you only have scourge against you. Build up very strong defences, laser and rocket turrets for every core, before attacking their nest as your attack will prompt a very strong response. Once you have done this create a harkback unit and attack the nest to end the level.
18. Sota
This enemy will not attack you very much only when they expand close to you. Build howitzers where you can reach them to keep them back. Next I used extirpators to destroy their energy network and then converted to bombies to destroy the frame.
19. Spine
First build a quick route to the portal use transmitters but put energy cores around them for protection. While doing this build up a team of snipers to stop the attackers. Then upgrade your laser lab and convert to leamo. Use these to destroy the enemy cores. Then move your frame through the portal, the positions should be close enough for this to work.
