Tomb Raider 7 : Lara's Weapons and Equipment

All of Lara's Weapons and Equipment, spoilers follow.

Equipment

PDA

PDA The PDA lists all the equipment you hold, where you are and what you are trying to find. It also stunningly is waterproof.

Health Pack

Health Pack You can hold up to three of these, usually collected off dead enemies they are invaluable in boss fights. Each one will restore just over half your health.

Magnetic Grapple

Magnetic Grapple Lara can use this device to climb and maneuver throughout the game, throwing it at attachable objects above to use as a rope to swing on. It can also be used to pick up objects and move larger items to swing or move them. In addition Lara can use the grapple as a weapon by throwing it around an enemy's waist and dragging them into the range of her weapons.

Binoculars and RAD

Binoculars Lara's binoculars will not only help you see distant objects they also have a state of the art RAD, Remote Analysis Device installed. Focus it on an object for data on it, is it movable a mechanism? RAD will tell you.

Personal Light Source

light Affixed to the forward strap of her backpack, this light can provide temporary illumination in the darkest corners of Lara's explorations. After two minutes the batteries in this device will run out and must recharge.

Flares

light The flares only appear in the flashback level where you don't have the current advanced technology, but back then flares worked fine.

Headset

To prevent you feeling lonely in the depths of a dank tomb Lara has invested in a headset. The headset is used to communicate with Lara's trusty helpers Zip and Allister back in the mansion.

Weapons

Lara can only carry one weapon apart from her pistols and the grenades so choose wisely.

Twin Pistols

Twin Pistols Lara's trusty twin pistols return in this game. Unlimited ammo and three upgrades make them a good weapon. Each clip holds 30 shots once it has been upgraded and then must be reloaded. As you progress through the game they can be upgraded. The upgrades are: Increased Magazine Size, Increased Accuracy and Increased Damage. These can be won by completing the game and collecting secrets.

Grenades

Grenades Lara can carry up to 4 Grenades at a time, use them to destroy large groups of enemies and their surroundings.

SMG

SMG The SMG has a high fire rate which enables Lara to easily take on more than one enemy at a time, but the high fire rate means that accuracy and range are not as good.

Assault Rifle

Assault Rifle The assault rifle is a powerful weapon with better range and accuracy than the pistols or SMG. Each magazine takes 30 shots and you can hold up to 120 shots in total, effective against a wide range of enemies.

Shotgun

Shotgun The shotgun is a very powerful weapon, killing many enemies in only one shot. Most effective at short range which enables Lara to use her melee attacks. Each magazine contains 5 shots and you can hold 20 shots in total. Very good in the fight against Takamoto at the end of the Japan level.

Grenade Launcher

Grenades This grenade launcher can aim grenades for you, making them even more deadly.

Special Weapons - SPOILER WARNING

Excalibur

Excalibur The Legendary sword of King Aurthur which Lara has found and reconnected, you find it at the end of Nepal and then you get a final level to enjoy it.

Soul Reaver

Soul Reaver The Soul Reaver is a special sword which can only be unlocked once the game has been completed as well as all time trials. It is similar to Excalibur but more powerful. The sword's name is probably a reference to the Crystal Dynamics game of the same name.
