Lara's Mansion

Collecting Gear

laptop in the corner Before getting the secrets it helps to collect your kit. First go into zip's room and press action by the computer on the floor. This will open a safe revealing the grapple. The next piece of kit is in Lara's rooms.
Pull both leavers In the main area in Lara's rooms you will notice a Medusa head with a dagger mounted in a block on each side, pull both daggers to reveal your pistols.
On the desk In the library head over to Alister's desk, on it is your personal light source.
binoculars In the pool room. Pull out both sets of spears held by the statues on the left of the pool with your grapple, then from the first balcony jump to the pole, jump and use the grapple to get to the second pole then swing to the second balcony. Walk to the horse statue to collect your binoculars.

Main Hall

laptop in the corner Before getting the secrets it helps to collect your kit. First go into zip's room and press action by the computer on the floor. This will open a safe revealing the grapple. The next piece of kit is in Lara's rooms.
on the left of the main stairs Stand facing the main staircase and head to the left of it, here you will find a bronze secret, 1/16.
shining face Go up the stairs and head to the left. Pull the statue with the shining face to reveal a bronze secret, 2/16.
non shining face Head to the right at the top of the stairs and face the face similar to the one on the left where we found the bronze secret. Shoot at this with accurate aim on your pistols to reveal a silver reward, 1/10.

Lara's Rooms

To reach Lara's rooms head up the main stairs and to the right, Lara's rooms are through the second door on the right. You can also change outfits you unlock in the wardrobe, for more about outfits see the outfits page.

behind the bed First head to the left into Lara's bedroom and go behind the bed to find a bronze reward, 3/16.
Pull both leavers In the main area in Lara's rooms you will notice a Medusa head with a dagger mounted in a block on each side, pull both daggers to reveal your pistols.

Library

To reach the library head up the main stairs and to the right, the library is through the first doors. You will notice a number of books that look different, these are part of the puzzle to find the gold reward.

behind the wood After entering the library look to your left, you will see a number of wooden boards, shoot at these to reveal a movable cart and a silver reward, 2/10.
On the desk In the library head over to Alister's desk, on it is your personal light source.
behind shelf Head upstairs into the smaller room, there is another dagger here, pull this to reveal another secret, 4/16.
near the doorway While still in the small room turn around to face the exit, you will see another bronze reward, 5/16.

Pool Room

To enter the pool room go through the door closest to zips room on the ground floor.

in the pool Walk to the edge of the pool and look down and to the right, you will see a bronze reward, 6/16.
behind fish statue Walk around the pool to the left, half way along you will see a fish statue with handles, pull it out to reveal a bronze secret, 7/16.
behind the deck chairs Continue to the end of the pool, look behind the deck chairs for a bronze secret, 8/16.
on the diving board On the left side of the pool, looking from the entrance there are two more fish statues with handles, pull both of these out, then return to the first. Climb onto it and jump to the pole, swing on the pole before jumping to the central block, shimmy around this to the other side, jump from this onto the second platform, jump to the pole and onto the balcony above the exit. Walk onto the diving board to collect your bronze reward, 9/16.
Up high in the pool Notice the two statues behind you and the emblem on the floor, turn the statues so their spears are crossing as shown on the floor, this will cause the picture between them to rotate revealing a lions tongue. Press this to open the first of two gates down in the pool. Dive into the pool and pull the lion lever to open the second gate. Swim down the tunnel to collect a silver reward, 3/10. You can continue to the end of this passageway to reach the gym but for now return to the pool room.
binoculars Pull out both sets of spears held by the statues on the left of the pool with your grapple, then return to the first and jump to the pole, jump and use the grapple to get to the second pole then swing to the second balcony. Walk to the horse statue to collect your binoculars.
behind statue While on this balcony head behind the plainer statue, here you will find a silver reward, 4/10.
Up high in the pool Stay on the balcony and notice the shiny ball on the other statue, pull this down and put it on the small round pressure plate by the diving board. Then dive into the water. Climb out to the right near the movable statue in the middle that we found a bronze reward (7/16) behind earlier. Pull this all the way out if it is not completely out already. Climb onto it and pull the pot plant, notice that it is now lower, towards you with the grapple. Jump onto it and then pull yourself towards the ledge, then jump onto it to recover a silver reward, 5/10.

Gym

To reach the gym use the door near the staircase on the ground floor or use the secret passage way from the pool room.

in pool Drop into the pool and pick up the bronze reward 10/16.
lots of steps Starting on the horizontal pole to the left of the entrance. Before you begin move the horizontal pole with the orange blob on the end, 3, so that it is parallel to the sloped blocks. Then jump onto the first horizontal pole, 1, swing to the vertical pole, 2, jump to the pole you just moved, 3, and from that onto the first slope, going away from the secret, jump from this to the crevice, 4, jump to the crevice above then jump backwards to the vertical pole hanging from the ceiling, jump to the next one and drop to the slope going towards the secret, 5, jump immediately to reach the bronze secret, 11/16.
second way up Jump to the sloped blocks again and grab the crevice, shimmy around and jump to the vertical pole, jump to the next vertical pole and then to the crevice. From this jump to the ladder, climb up, jump to the vertical pole attached to the wall and into the secret area, pick up the bronze secret, 12/16.
in the corner Climb up to the ladder in the same way you did for the previous secret, jump right from the ladder to the crevice, jump up and jump to the right to the crevice in the corner. Shimmy around the corner, jump backwards to the horizontal pole, change direction so you are facing the way you came. Drop down and shimmy around to pick up the bronze reward, 13/16.
more steps Move the horizontal pole we moved last time back to its original position. Climb across to it and jump to the crevasse, shimmy around the side and jump back to the short horizontal pole attached to the wall, climb up the green dots and jump to the other horizontal pole, 2. Shimmy to the end of this and jump to the vertical pole hanging from the ceiling, 3, from this jump to the next pole, 4. From 4 jump to the crevasse, drop to the lower crevasse, from this jump to the horizontal pole, jump to the crevasse near the corner, then jump to the vertical pole, 5. Jump to the pole attached to the wall, then to the crevasse, drop down to collect the silver secret, 6/10.
second way up You will notice a semi-circular climbing frame at the other end of the room, 1. Climb onto the stone block in the middle of the room, jump from it to the horizontal pole, from this to the vertical pole and then to the semi-circular frame, 1. From this jump to the horizontal pole on the wall, from this to the left on the green climbing section. Climb up it and jump backwards to the horizontal pole attached to the wall, 2. Shimmy to the end of this and jump to the horizontal pole attached to where you just climbed up, 3. Jump from this to the crevasse, shimmy round, and drop down, pull up to retrieve a bronze reward, 14/16.
above the pool From the semi-circular frame, jump to the vertical pole against the wall, jump to the right, grab the crevasse, shimmy around, jump backwards, you will grab the crevice below the green climbing section, climb up this, jump to the right, then to the right again to the first horizontal pole. Jump to the next one then to the crevasse, shimmy across and drop into the hollow where the bronze secret is, 15/16.
hard silver Move the movable section of wall above the pool so that it is at right angles to the wall. Start by climbing up the same way as for the previous secret but this time head right when you reach the vertical pole attached to the wall, 1. Jump to the crevice on the right, shimmy around and jump up. Shimmy around this one and jump backwards, you will grab the crevice below the green climbing section, climb up this, grab the crevice on the right, jump backwards to the pole. From this jump to the angled horizontal pole attached to the ceiling and then to the next one, swing to the movable platform attached to the ceiling. Use your grapple to move towards the silver reward and jump it when you get close, pick it up, 7/10.
another silver Rotate the semi-circular climbing frame so that the bar is vertical, climb up to it and jump to the crevasse opposite. Shimmy to the left and jump to the next crevasse, jump up and up again, jump quickly while on the slope to grab the green climbing frame opposite. Jump to the right to the angled horizontal pole hanging from the ceiling, then to the next one and jump to the vertical pole. From this jump to the platform behind, use your grapple to pull yourself towards the platform with the silver secret, 8/10 on and pick it up. Jump into the water to get down safely.

Gold Secret

This involves a number of steps and clues which are outlined below, you will pick up the remaining bronze and silver secrets in the process.

in the library First return to the library and find the two movable bookshelves, one, 1, is behind the destructible wood where you found the silver secret (2/10), for the second stand at the top of the flight of stairs nearest you and use the grapple on 2 to pull it down, 3. Place them on the pressure plates on either side of Allister, to open a secret passage way below 2.
in the passage in the passage Follow the passage way, you will see the silver reward, 9/10, almost immediately. Go around the large pile of boxes and in a corner you will see the final bronze reward, 16/16.
first clue Near the bronze reward you will see another lions tongue, press it and go over to the panel that has revealed the first clue. Press action and Lara will read it, the clue is telling you to return to the pool room 'water' and move the warrior statues 'sisters' so they are facing away from each other 'backs one upon the other'. So go to the pool room, you can follow the passage to the end to emerge in Lara's rooms.
Goddess Statues Climb up to the balcony above the entrance using the fish statues on the right, as described earlier. Turn the statues to face in opposite directions, the central plaque will turn again to give you your second clue, this tells you to return to the library, and push the books in the order, blue, yellow, green and red, so lets go and do that.
in the Library The blue book is just to the right of the entrance, the yellow book is upstairs in the small room, just to the left of the entrance. The green book is on the balcony in the main room, finally the red book is on the ground floor on your left if you are facing Allister. Press the books in this order using action, this will reveal the final silver secret and another clue. This tells you to do something above the fireplace, so return to the main hall.
Main Hall When you enter the main hall you will notice that at either end of the balconies the pictures have turned into lion's tongues. This is a timed sequence. First pull the spikes attached to zip's room, horizontal with your grapple. Push the first lion's tongue, swing across on the three horizontal poles and touch the second lions tongue. This will reveal another clue, and an Athena statue will appear in the middle of the hall. The clue is telling you to turn the statue to face the window.
Got it Turn the statue to face the windows and stand on the pressure plate at the bottom of the main staircase, the gold reward will then appear on a pedestal. To reach it climb onto the balconies and drop onto the pedestal from the middle horizontal pole. When you pick up the secret the pedestal will return into the floor. Congratulations you have found all the secrets in the mansion.

Bolivia - Tiwanaku

behind the rock near where you start When you start the level don't cross the bridge straight away, go behind the rock to find the bronze reward.
behind the rock near the pool Before swimming through the water go into the cave on your right to find another bronze reward.
To the Left of the first rope swing You will come across this secret on the first ropes swing. Don't just swing straight forward but look to the right. There is another passage you can swing into. Walk to the end to find a silver reward, drop down here and run left to continue the level.
near swing tree After dropping the stone onto the tree look to your left, you will find a bronze reward to your left.
Secret Room After killing the two guys talking about the monkey. You will swing on another rope by a waterfall. After swinging to the ledge, walk to the left and climb up into the room shown, there you will find a bronze reward.
Hollow you cannot climb into After killing the guard and swinging across the gap using your grappling hook you come across this cranny on your left, you can't climb into it but there is a bronze reward that you can retreive with your grappeling hook.
in the corner After sliding down the slope with the rocks on head to the small area to the right, here you will find a bronze reward.
under the bridge After the last secret go to the left and ahead you will see a bronze reward partially hidden under a bridge below the collapasable tower.
Left of entrance temple After you kill all the mercenaries and before you enter the temple head to the left of the steps. There is a small room here protected by rocks. Inside you will find your second silver reward.
After swinging over trap After negotiating the first trap in the temple you come across the machinery before climbing up, head to your left into this small room to collect a bronze reward.
Room by pool While swimming you can come up half way along into this small chamber.
in the main room Once you enter the main room head to the right, in a raised alcolve you will find the final bronze reward of the level.
Final Room This is the most difficult area to get to. After completing the block puzzle remove the middle block. Remove one of the other blocks. Then replace the middle block, and run over to the pressure plate which is missing a block. Stand on the block until the door lines up as shown in the screenshot, you will know you have got it right when the door is constantly moving up and down slightly. Then make your way over to the other side of the room. Once there climb up either side of the door. Jump up again, then jump to the center of the door, jump up twice again to reach the room. See red arrow on screenshot for route. Inside you will find a gold reward. Use the crouch button to drop safely.
Final Room When you are near the exit of the block puzzle look walk over to the side which you did not climb across on, you can then jump up to a crevasse, shimmy across and up again. There is a small area here with another chain to shimmy across. On the far side is your third silver reward.
push the block During the cutscene you see this secret. Once you reach the room with the spiked poles notice a paler section of wall below the entrance. Push this and follow the passge for a foruth silver reward.
on the way out On the way out of the spiked room stop when the rightmost rotating spiked thing is behind you, in the position shown in the screenshot. Jump to it then swing off it into the cavity to collect the final silver reward.

Peru - Return to Paraiso

swing over then drop down At the very beginning of the level, go behind the building on the right. Climb onto the roof, and swing onto the opposite building using your grappling hook. Drop down behind the fence and you will find a bronze secret. To get out move the movable block next to the fence and climb out over it.
swing swing bronze secret After your first gun fight you will notice a stand you can climb onto, followed by the balcony on your left. Then swing across the two bars and onto the other balcony to pick up the bronze secret.
behind the flag pole In the same area as the previous secret follow the road behind the flag pole, there is a bronze secret in a corner.
opposite man with shotgun Once you are on the balcony apposite the man with the shotgun, enter the door on your left. Kick open the cupboard for a silver secret.
behind two barrels After the big fight but before riding the motor bike, head down the alley blocked by two barrels, on the right is a bronze reward.
after Sarah When playing as young Lara, just after finding Sarah dead, once you have climbed up but before you shimmy across to the next platform, look behind you, you will see a bronze secret.
after Jason dying After Amanda says Jason is dead you need to roll the ball onto the pressure plate and climb onto the ledge, on the left is a bronze secret.
behind crates Back in the present, before heading underwater, check behind the crates, you will find a bronze secret.
in shack Also before you go underwater take a peek into the shack on the shore, inside is a bronze reward.
underwater puzzle Before completing the underwater puzzle check in the passages around it, one contains a silver reward.
roll this ball Once you have visited the Queen you head back towards Anaya. Once you are above the gorge and swinging on the rope avoid the obvious route and swing to the damaged ledge. Shimmy along and climb into the opening, walk up to the top and roll the ball down the slope to break the wall at the bottom. It should fall to the ground, roll it into the front pressure plate, the tomb will rise higher to reveal the Gold secret.

Japan - Meeting with Takamoto

top of the roof Before moving the the roof climb up further, and shoot the crate before collecting the bronze reward.
under stairs The second bronze is under the stairs in the room with the motorbike.
behind boxes In the room with the motor bike among some boxes is a crate containing a bronze secret.
lower scaffolding After the excitement with the bike, drop down onto a lower level of scaffolding and follow it to the end where you can shoot a crate for a bronze reward.
down the stairs Once reaching the roof and defeating the enemies head downstairs, there is a collection of boxes, shoot the crate to find a bronze reward.
up the stairs After have got the last secret go to the very top of the stairs, drop onto the pipes and head towards the crate, inside is a silver reward.
in stock market at the top After the fight in the stock market room head up to the raised area, inside one of the cupboards is a silver reward.
in stock market In the same stock market room, in one of the cubicles by the wall there is a bronze reward.
in the area with artworks After you have finished climbing the building head to the right before attacking the people straight ahead, you will find a bronze reward after killing two opponents.
storeroom In the same area, but down the stairs, before passing the lazes look for a store room, in one of the cupboards is a silver reward.
red chest After swinging the dragon and climbing up head to the right, you will find a movable red chest, push it off the edge, retrieve the gold reward.

Ghana - Pursuing James Rutland

in the water in the water After diving into the water swim around a bit underwater, you should find two bronze rewards.
under mechanism Once you have opened the entrance to the temple drop into the water again, you can now follow the passage under the mechanism to find a silver secret.
in the wheel room In the room with the two wheels, after the battle, climb up onto the ledge opposite, there is a bronze reward in the corner.
in the corner by stairs In the very big room, head to your right and climb onto the broken stairs. Head to the other side to retrieve the bronze secret.
behind rubble On the other side once you are in the water swim to the left there is a ledge you can climb out on, follow it around to find a silver secret behind some rubble.
high above When you are high above the water in the same room, just before you swing with you grappling hook, look to your left, you will find a bronze reward.
after ball After dodging the giant ball look to your left, you will see a ladder going down, follow it down for a silver reward.
outside again After heading back inside the temple and reappearing outside, swing across the two bars, and jump to the left across the waterfall. Destroy the door with a grenade and retrieve the silver reward.
final door After dodging the two balls and stepping on a pressure plate don't head through the door ahead but go downstairs quickly and through the door at the bottom. Inside you will find the gold reward.

Kazakhstan - Project Carbonek

after parachute After parachuting down to the roof look to your right, shoot the box for a bronze reward.
inside building You will notice a building opposite where you land, go inside and into a smaller room to pick up a bronze reward.
behind fence Once getting over the fence and killing the guards in the next area, but before heading into the medical center look at the fence and notice the silver reward. To get through the fence shoot the explosive barrel, walk through to retrieve the reward.
in burning train area After the motorbike chase once you have climbed over the burning train check for a crate containing a bronze reward.
in the vents While climbing through the vents, when on the grapple hook drop down to find a crate containing a bronze reward.
climb up this way secret when in the engine room climb up the vents on the right of the entrance, follow the raised platform around, open the door with your grappling hook and shoot the crate and pick up the silver secret.
in generator room After dropping down towards the big generator head behind to the right and pick up the bronze secret.
opposite dead man After climbing to the top of the generator, you will see a dead man, opposite him is a room with an explosive barrel inside. Shoot it to knock down the door, and go inside to retrieve the silver reward.
remove blocks move plate Once you have the machine working use it to remove the three blocks in the slot, and to move the movable platform to the far right. To get it there you will need to hit it repeatedly with the gun. Then climb up, shimmy around the corner and drop down, jump to the movable platform, jump to the next ledge, over the pole and into the alcove to pick up a gold reward.

England - King Arthur's Tomb?

up high Once you are up higher before going through the grating shoot the crate on the left for a bronze reward.
room with broken floor In the room with the broken floor look for the small window ahead and to the right, jump across and climb in to find a small room containing a bronze reward.
second room with broken floor In the second room with a broken floor after going across the boat head to the right and crawl through the duct to find a bronze reward.
pile it up in we go When you enter the room with the small fork lift truck look to your right, there is a grate high on the wall. Pile two crates on top of each other near this grate using the fork lift truck. Remove the grate with your grapple and climb up for a silver reward.
in the tomb Once you have gone down the stairs in the fork lift truck, you will find a tomb, break the tomb straight ahead for another silver reward.
no more truck Just after you lose the fork lift truck look to your right, retrieve the bronze reward with your grappling hook.
down a few more steps Go down a few more steps and you will see another bronze reward in the alcove opposite you, retrieve it with your grappling hook.
how do I get there? here we are When you are slightly further down you will notice a bronze reward in the first of three small alcoves. Shimmy to the end below it the pull up and walk to your right to retrieve it.
after the fire traps After passing the fire trap you will be in a room with blades on three sides of you, push the block under the set on your right, inside you will find a silver secret.
Chandelier room After using the first Chandelier to release a coffin look for the other one, use it to break the grate opposite and reveal a bronze secret. Remove it with your grapple.
underwater After dropping into the channel with water turn around and head underwater into a small room containing a bronze reward underwater.
on coffin While still in the channels before exiting down the waterfall turn around and pull the coffin towards the silver reward before jumping to the ledge and picking it up.
on top of the temple When on top of the temple, before sliding down, look behind some rubble to find a silver secret.
behind gate After defeating the second monster you will notice a bronze reward behind a gate. Shoot the ring above the gate to release the rope. Grab the shield to climb up, then jump to the top and grab the rope, swing and drop down for your final bronze reward of the level.
three steps You are returning the way you came, in the big room with a ledge on each side, after killing two guards, climb up onto the right ledge and push in the block with I on it, then head over to the opposite ledge to push in the block with II, you may have done this on your first time through. After passing the fire trap again you will return to the high room, on the ground level there is a block with a III on it, push this to open the door on the opposite side revealing the gold reward.

Nepal - The Ghalali Key

opposite where you started After swinging on the collapsible pole you will reach this stable block. Before swinging with your grapple drop down the back for a bronze reward.
shimmy around the corner silver reward After climbing on a number of snowy ledges you will get to a seeming dead end, before shooting your way through go back to the ledge you climbed up from and shimmy to the right, you will find a silver reward in the next alcove along.
turn around After swinging on an old section of the plane with your grapple hook turn around an notice the icy hollow, shoot it and jump across for a silver reward.
old wing After dropping down what appears to be a section of the plane's wing take a look behind it for a bronze reward.
debris a silver reward After reaching the main section of the plane head across to the other side you will notice a pit and some debris on the opposite side. Pull the debris down with your grappling hook and jump across, on the other side you will find a silver reward.
arty arch After dropping the plane and performing a quick series of jumps you at last land safely, before heading forward look to your right and grab the bronze reward in the alcove with your grappling hook.
Once you have run across the falling platform, look behind you, there is a bronze reward you can reach with your graping hook.
In the same area as the last secret, just after the falling platform go to the opposite side of the ledge you are on and hang down. Shimmy to the left, drop down shimmy some more and drop down a few more times, you will then reach an alcove containing the gold reward. Return the same way.
around the corner In the outside area where you fight a large number of Rutland's mercenaries, there are three secrets. Once you have killed them, head around to the left near the river, in the corner is a bronze reward.
behind ice The second secret in this area is behind some ice, stand on the block closest to the right wall. Shoot the ice to reveal the secret.
hard to miss This is the third secret in this area, as you climb up, just before you use the grapple on the platform where the man with the grenade gun was, look behind you, you will see a bronze reward.
after sliding down Just after sliding down from where Rutland's men were look to you left, you will see a bronze reward in a narrow alcove.
room with floating ice blocks In the room with the moving ice before heading to the entrance way ahead and on the right, head towards the alcove opposite, inside is a silver reward.
behind broken wall In the large Buddha room head down the stairs to the right, look for a decrepit section of wall near the base of the stairs, shoot it to reveal a silver reward.
one side the other side After reaching the other side of the Buddha room head along the balconies on either side, both contain bronze rewards.
